Rocky is now 6.5 weeks old and she can have only limited contact with other dogs. Doing a photo shoot while trying to keep a puppy on the blanket and two big dogs off is no easy task. When I last saw Rocky she weighed a pound and a half and wobbled under the weight of her puppy-tummy. Now, weighing in at a whole five pounds, Rocky runs… freestyle. Kicks, rolls, and 360 attempts are all part of her growing repertoire.
Cathy’s other dog is Bailey, the German shepherd. Bailey and Gwen go on regular play dates. Rocky was a huge interruption, today, with howling, tail-pouncing and pee-pad antics. The older dogs can’t remember a more chaotic time since their own puppy-hoods…
